Hertz is proud to announce the availability of two new additions to the HEX speaker family: the HEX 4 C-W and HEX 4 C-C, compact 4-inch coaxial speakers designed to bring the renowned HEX sound quality to installations where space is at a premium.
With the introduction of these new models, the HEX range becomes even more versatile, offering boat builders, installers, and enthusiasts greater flexibility when designing complete onboard audio systems. The compact 4-inch format is ideal for consoles, cabins, T-tops, and secondary listening zones, while maintaining a consistent sound signature throughout the vessel.
Available in both White Classic (HEX 4 C-W) and Black Classic (HEX 4 C-C) finishes, the new speakers integrate seamlessly into a wide variety of marine environments, from traditional white interiors to modern dark-themed installations.
Like every product in the HEX range, the new 4-inch models are Hertz Pure Marine Certified™, engineered to withstand the harshest marine conditions. They feature IP65 water protection, UV resistance compliant with ASTM-D4329 standards, and salt fog resistance tested according to ASTM-B117.
The acoustic design combines a compact woofer with a 25 mm (1”) voice coil optimized for infinite baffle applications and a high-efficiency tweeter developed through FEM simulation to ensure wide off-axis dispersion and excellent clarity throughout the boat.
Additional features include a sealed integrated crossover with resettable tweeter protection and corrosion-resistant nickel-plated terminals for long-lasting reliability in humid and salt-rich environments.
The new HEX 4 C-W and HEX 4 C-C are now available through the Hertz Marine distribution network.
